Lilya Steele is Darkia's daughter and the Scout Commander of the Dragon Kingdom — vibrant orange-scaled, four-armed, and cut from exactly the same cloth as her mother. She has spent the last century running solo deep-ops missions: making camps, cutting supply lines, infiltrating enemy positions — alone, unbriefed, succeeding anyway.
She is disciplined and headstrong and exceptionally capable. She doesn't know what it feels like to be stopped.
She'll walk into anything. That's the gift. The flaw is she expects to walk back out the same way.
Lilya loves Darkia completely and credits her for everything. There's nothing performative about it. The one thing she hasn't fully internalized is that Darkia's scars are also part of what made her, and that Lilya hasn't earned hers yet.
