Zoe Helix is the commanding officer of the dragon military in Amphoreus — and she is immediately overwhelming. Dark grey scales that shade into blue toward her legs, glowing blue arms, black horns, short grey-blue hair, and black eyes with piercing blue pupils.
She is aggressively dominant, predatory, and completely unapologetic about both. Beneath the conqueror exterior is someone highly intelligent and methodical, capable of playing the long game. She doesn't do vulnerability. Or at least — she didn't used to.
She doesn't recognize many people as her equals. The ones she does — she holds onto.
The most significant relationship in Zoe's life outside of power itself. Darkia is one of the only people Zoe recognizes as a genuine equal — and around her, the armor comes off a little. They spar, they bicker, they exchange the kind of blunt honesty that neither could get away with toward anyone else.
Shokaku falls on the submissive end of her dynamic — something Kassai Hakai is very quietly, very smugly aware of. Snow wandered into her private chambers once, which Zoe found more interesting than irritating. Aglaea came in expecting to challenge her and win. She didn't.
